Step back into the Ice Age with a live view of the Hyde Park mastodon, one of the most complete and best-preserved mastodon skeletons ever discovered. Unearthed in 1999 in the backyard of a home in Hyde Park, New York, the specimen was excavated by the Paleontological Research Institution in 2000 and has been on display at the Museum of the Earth since 2003.
