Welcome to the National Puerto Rican Day Parade!

More than 2 million spectators are expected to line the parade route along
New York City's Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 86th Street (June 14, 11am-5pm EDT)
as marchers, bands and colorful music and dance-filled floats honor Puerto Rican
contributions and culture. More than 80,000 participants including many celebrities and
political leaders are expected to march. The parade, one of the largest in New York City, is the
culmination of a week-long series of events including films, poetry readings, sports, musical
performances and a street festival celebrating the richness of Puerto Rican Culture.
EarthCam's streaming video camera, located one block south of St. Patrick's Cathedral, captures
the festive line of march in full motion and sound as it passes the iconic church.
After the National Puerto Rican Day Parade the camera will resume 24/7 live views of
Fifth Avenue from the unique EarthCam vantage. Since its launch earlier this year the
webcam featured the St. Patrick's Day Parade and the annual "Easter Parade".
