EarthCam Joins Ford for the 2nd Consecutive Year to Produce Live Interactive Webcast at the 2003 North American International Auto Show


EarthCam's Extensive Online Coverage to Include 5 Webcams and Live Streaming Video

On location at the 2003 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, EarthCam's extensive online coverage will include multiple webcams strategically placed throughout the Ford exhibit, as well as live streaming video.

On January 10th, live coverage of the Ford exhibit will be available to the online viewing audience at FordVehicles.com (www.fordvehicles.com). EarthCam will have five robotic webcam systems capturing a widespread number of angles and viewpoints of the Ford vehicles scattered about the exhibit. Additionally, two pre-produced streaming video clips will be available for viewing that focus solely on Ford's 2004 F-150 and new GT-40.

Ford vehicle enthusiasts will also have the opportunity to see the show live via streaming video. On Monday, January 13th and Tuesday, January 14th, online visitors can log on to FordVehicles.com from 11am-12noon and then again from 1pm-2pm on both days to view the different vehicles from a roving camera onsite. Visitors will be able to see all the vehicles, both inside and out, and experience the show as if they were there themselves.

With the 2003 North American International Auto Show being so large, Ford has chosen to take advantage of the opportunity by highlighting its 2004 F-150 and newly production lined GT-40. To do so, EarthCam will produce streaming video clips, featuring each of the vehicles, offered in both Windows Media format and RealPlayer format. Visitors will be able to view these streaming video clips with audio in either 56k or 300k depending on the speed of their Internet connection.

The 2003 North American International Auto Show will take place in Detroit, Michigan at COBO Hall from January 11th-20th, 2003. The show will be open to the public from 10am-10pm from January 11th-19th and from 10am-7pm on January 20th when the show concludes.
