Welcome to Connecticut Air Quality Cams!

Protecting and improving air quality is a leading item on Connecticut's environmental
agenda. The Nutmeg State has seen marked improvements in air quality since the
Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection was formed in 1971.
Connecticut now meets health related standards for most pollutants regulated under
the federal Clean Air Act, and levels have decreased for the rest. Levels of ground-level
ozone and particles still remain to be a health and environmental concern.
The state is determined to build on its record and improve it continuously. In a commitment to
environmental vigilance the department has added live webcams to its arsenal to observe, record
and maintain image archives with an eye on prevention or correction of air quality issues.
EarthCam
and affiliate
Connecticut Department of Enviromental Protection
invite you to
observe the webcams in action in the three locations throughout the state. The cameras at
Mohawk Mountain in Cornwall,
Talcott Mountain Science Center in Avon and Criscuolo Park in New Haven
offer live access to view current and recent conditions.
