EarthCam Debuts Revolutionary GigapixelCam in the Middle East

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, October 8, 2012 -- EarthCam has been serving the Middle East since 2000 and premiered their new GigapixelCam at the Intermat Middle East 2012 trade show in Abu Dhabi. The innovative system is on display at EarthCam's trade show stand (#612). Construction camera technology and services allow clients to reduce travel by remotely monitoring their projects with live video, show progress to investors using archived images and promote their company through theatrical time-lapse movies.

The groundbreaking GigapixelCam is the world's first outdoor automated gigapixel camera. The ultimate in documentation photography, the rugged webcam auto-generates impressive 360° panoramas, over 1000 megapixels in size. Complete with live video, user-controllable pan/tilt/zoom controls and snapshot on-demand, this system is perfectly suited to documenting projects with a large scope, such as stadiums, museums and mixed-use developments. The GigapixelCam captures progress with ultra high resolution images for striking clarity, which are edited into a cinematic time-lapse movie, highlighting milestones from foundation to completion.

With construction camera solutions tailored specifically for the region, EarthCam is working on many significant projects in the Middle East, including the Heart of Doha, Cleveland Clinic, Jeddah Stadium, Saadiyat Island Developments and more.
