Welcome to Corpus Christi!
Corpus Christi
is the 8th largest city in Texas and covers 452 square miles,
two-thirds of which is water. The average high in July and August is 93
degrees and 65 degrees in January. Corpus Christi's biggest snowfall was 5
inches in 1897. The King Ranch is one of the largest and oldest working
cattle and horse ranches in the world with history, wildlife and
agriculture tours. It is larger than Rhode Island.
Corpus Christi means
"body of Christ" in Latin.

Corpus Christi
is a unique community that balances a village-by-the-sea
atmosphere with big city benefits and opportunities. The city offers guests
a rich blend of culture in the relaxed atmosphere of this historic coastal port.
In Corpus Christi,
you will find smooth sea breezes and endless blue skies
year-round. A Corpus Christi
vacation features a bayfront promenade, an arts and museum district, waterfront restaurants and an entertaining nightlife...all
within walking distance from first-rate hotels. You'll also find golf galore,
plentiful shopping and beautiful beaches.

The Corpus Christi Municipal Marina is the focal point of our city. It is on
Corpus Christi Bay protected from the Gulf of Mexico by sandy barrier islands
off the Texas Coast. The bayfront is a wonderful natural asset in a beautiful tropical setting.
