Welcome to Holden Beach!

This camera is brought to you in partnership with Alan Holden Vacations. Holden Beach, North Carolina is located midway between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It's on an Atlantic coastal barrier island whose population swells from 900 to over 10,000 in mid-summer. Holden Beach has over 8 miles of pristine beaches and moderate temperatures throughout the year. The community has over 125 golf courses within a one-hour drive and boating, fishing, and hiking the island are popular activities. The island is a sea turtle habitat. During the hatching season, from May to October, hundreds of small sea turtles dig their way out of the sand and march to the ocean.
