The White Rhino, along with the roughly equally-sized Indian Rhino, is the largest species of land mammal after the elephant. At maturity, White Rhinos weigh from 4,000 to 6,000 pounds and stand five to six feet tall at the shoulder. From head to tail, they can be as much as 12 to 15 feet in length.
