This physics device responds to the movement of the Earth and registers according to location when released to swing. For example, a Foucault Pendulum in the Northern Hemisphere tracks in a counterclockwise direction. A live webcam at the University of Heidelberg in Germany provides an interesting view of the phenomenon.
