The Pavelstakaya Tower, completed in 2003, is the signature building of a new office complex located near an historic rail station of the same name and the Krasnye Holmy hotel, opened in 2005, is located on an island between the Moskova (Moscow) River and Vodootvny channel. Nearby the circular Moscow International Performing Arts Center, also known as the Moscow International House of Music, has been welcoming guests and international artists since its debut in 2003. The center also boasts the largest recital organ in Russia. The historic Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building, constructed during the Stalinist period on the north bank, dominates the views up river and a wide range of unique Russian architecture is visible downstream.
