EarthCam Features New York City’s Taste of Times Square Visitor Photos

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, June 12, 2007 -- EarthCam (www.earthcam.com), the official Internet camera of Times Square, which partnered with Panasonic to capture the fun, excitement and smiling faces at the Taste of Times Square 2007, today posted the images at www.earthcam.com/tasteoftimessquare.

During the 2007 Times Square Alliance event that took place in New York City on Monday, June 11, EarthCam photographers roamed West 46th Street, between Broadway and 9th Avenue, the historic Restaurant Row. The photographers invited the food aficionados to take time out during the outdoor festival to pose for their Internet image debuts. Participants will be able to email their souvenir photos to friends and family from the EarthCam site.

Hungry revelers enjoyed the evening sampling food from a choice of more than 50 Times Square restaurants, and were entertained by street performers and stage acts while others danced to big band music at the Swing 46 Tent.

The 2007 event marks the 10th consecutive year EarthCam has participated in the popular outdoor food festival. Event images are framed on the web in the famous News Astrovision by Panasonic sign, one of Times Squares’ most famous giant video screens.
