EarthCam Introduces Dredging Industry Cameras at WEDA 29

Demonstrates ConstructionCam For Remote Project management

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, June 14, 2009 -- EarthCam (www.earthcam.net), the leader in providing webcam software, technology and managed services, will demonstrate advances in webcam systems for dredging projects at the annual Western Dredging Association meeting June 14-17 in Tempe, AZ (Exhibit #44).

The EarthCam exhibit will demonstrate a specially designed ConstructionCam – a robotic streaming video camera for long-term projects in harsh conditions. The camera is protected by a heavy-duty housing with a heater plus a wiper to keep visibility clear. The camera also provides a 35x optical and 12x digital zoom. EarthCam will also feature the DredgeCam. Built of marine grade materials for caustic environments, the robotic streaming webcam includes a pressurized, rugged aluminum housing, vibration isolation for jitter-free video and a 300x zoom.

The two cameras are powered by EarthCam’s Control Center 7 secure management software, which provides camera management, as well as archiving, and documentation of projects. Features include a project dashboard, live video PTZ control, multiple view presets, security archiving, aerial and satellite views, as well as automated progress reports.

The DredgeCam is among the latest additions to EarthCam’s full array of cameras designed to meet budget and monitoring demands of short-term and long-term construction, transportation, infrastructure and security projects.

The event, WEDA 29, at the Buttes Tempe Marriot Resort, brings together dredging and marine construction professionals, public authorities involved with lakes and other bodies of water, and officials in domestic and international mining.
