Many Thousands Expected to Watch EarthCam's Live Streaming Webcast of the Easter Parade 'on the Avenue, Fifth Avenue'

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, April 21, 2011 -- EarthCam (www.earthcam.com), the Internet’s premier global webcam network, will webcast Fifth Avenue’s Annual Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Festival on Sunday, April 24, from a location near St. Patrick's Cathedral.

The streaming video webcam with audio is located one block south of the famous cathedral. EarthCam will provide live views of New York City’s traditional spring stroll from 49th to 57th streets from 10am-4pm ET. Known for creative bonnets, the latest fashions and some colorful ensembles, this traditional parade has taken an “extreme” turn in recent years as the Easter frills and bonnets are slowing being usurped by more flashy outfits.

The live views of the parade, a New York tradition for well over 100 years, are available from any computer or mobile device. After the Easter Parade, EarthCam will continue to offer 24/7 live views of Fifth Avenue from the unique vantage point above the distinguished thoroughfare including daily activities, other major parades and traditional events throughout the year.
