EarthCam's ConstructionCamTV to Feature Historic Construction Imagery

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New York, April 15, 2014 -- EarthCam, the leader in jobsite documentation and promotion, recently launched ConstructionCamTV – a new 24 hour online channel devoted to all things construction. Featuring live views from its global collection of construction cameras and educational time-lapse movies, EarthCam is now integrating vintage construction photos, submitted by people around the world.

ConstructionCamTV is proactively programmed by EarthCam’s broadcast directors, who will change the scheduled lineup every 5 to 15 minutes in order to feature breaking news stories or special events around the world. Live streaming and time-lapse video will showcase how starchitects Frank Gehry, Jean Nouvel, Zaha Hadid and Norman Forster combine design and technology to create monumental works of art. Viewers will be transported to projects including leading medical centers, major league stadiums, sophisticated skyscrapers and complex bridges. Some of the most notable projects come to life with impressive hand-edited time-lapse photography.

Taking the already engaging content to a whole new level, EarthCam has put the call out to construction teams around the world to submit their favorite vintage construction images. The photos will serve as a way to travel back in time, bridging the gap between construction methods from yesteryear and the always-evolving techniques used by today’s industry professionals.

To submit a favorite vintage construction photo to be featured on ConstructionCamTV, send the image and a brief description to [email protected].
