EarthCam and ASTI Transportation Announce New Technology Alliance


Companies To Demonstrate Mobile Trailer-Mounted Camera at ITS America

New York, June 4, 2007 -- [Palm Springs, CA] — EarthCam, Inc. (www.earthcam.net), the leader in webcam technology and managed services, and ASTI Transportation, Inc., a leader in portable smart work zone systems, today announced an agreement to develop and market new advanced mobile trailer camera systems.

Under the agreement, EarthCam camera systems and unique software technology will be installed on ASTI’s trailer systems. The advanced system will be demonstrated at ITS America in Palm Springs, CA. (EarthCam - Exhibit #964 and ASTI - Exhibit #501)

The Mobile TrailerCam, a rugged, self-contained system, can be set up by one person to transmit wireless video within 15 minutes.

Four solar panels power the system and the camera mast towers over locations with a telescoping extension that rises up to 29 feet. The weather-rugged robotic network cameras are remotely controlled over a secure password protected website. The webcams offer full streaming video with robotic pan, tilt and zoom, infrared vision and EarthCam’s user-friendly remote archiving, with time-lapse movie capability. The webcams are preconfigured for multiple connectivity options including microwave wireless, 802.11 wireless, or EVDO Rev. A with upstream speeds up to 1.5Mbps.
