New York, NY, June 28, 1999 -- EarthCam, the official Internet camera of Times Square (http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/), is pleased to announce its participation in the Sixth Annual Taste of Times Square on June 28, 1999. EarthCam's webcast of New York City's great outdoor food festival will feature some of the finest restaurants in Manhattan, excellent local entertainment and over 12,000 participants. For this one-day event, EarthCam will display images of the flavorful sights, people and displays on 46th Street between Broadway and 9th Avenue within EarthCam's virtual Taste of Times Square Photo Album. EarthCam's special promotion includes capturing individual's pictures and placing these images on the Internet. Participants will receive a photo identification number that will enable them to view their image at their convenience and then email their picture.

If you are attending the Taste of Times Square, visit us inside the Entertainment Tent and use the EarthCam Internet Postcard Kiosk. The kiosk captures live images of participants and enables them to email friends and family their picture along with a personalized message.

The event features more than three dozen of Times Square's great restaurants. Each restaurant provides "tastes" of their signature dishes and more than a half dozen breweries will serve their featured beers. Throughout the festival and at several bandstands guests are treated to dozens of top-notch local entertainment and classic New York street musicians.
