On March 17, 1999, EarthCam will webcast St. Patrick's Day festivities LIVE from New York City. EarthCam's live Internet coverage includes up-close views of New York City's biggest parade and the revelers inside McSorley's Old Ale House.

St. Patrick's Day in Manhattan is a festive holiday of merrymaking that fills the streets and bars with revelers from early in the morning until the wee hours of the next morning. The parade kicks off at 44th St. and 5th and winds its way up to 86th Street. Flocks of people will line the streets as far as the Irish eye can see.
EarthCam will place multiple webcams along the parade route to capture the live images of the colorful participants, fans and observers of the Parade and place their pictures on the Internet while simultaneously archiving the images for participants to view later. The images of the parade will be archived and remain on the EarthCam site for one month from March 17, 1999.
