Great was my saddness hearing this terrible terrible thing! Gracious goodness, but it reminds me of the time my very grandfather was eaten by a very large and hungry Bengal tiger. I am only 13.When the Kennedys' and Lauren Bessette died.I was 12 at the time.I was VERY sad I really never heard of JFK.JR until I did a biography book report on his father last year.That was really the only time I ever heard of him.But,still,his death seemed to hurt me very much.I cried everytime I seen pictures of the 3 on television.I cried at night.It is still very heartbreaking to this day for me.And I never knew him.I feel like a huge part of me is gone.I have atleast 13 magazines,2 videos,6 newspaper articles, and the TV guide special that was made for them.I just wanted to have a chance to express my feelings about this awful tragedy.They will always be in my heart forever.

ever since this tragic accident happened i can not hear an airplain hit my ears because the accident of Jonh f.kennedy JR. comes to make me remember that morning i found out that the only son of the worlds best president had die. As time goes by I realize how much more of an impact John Kennedy had on our lives than I had even imagined. I was so saddened by his tragic death that it consumed my life for several days afterwards. I now realize how much of an impact because even though I didn't even know him I miss him being a part of our lives. I have gone through the grieving process as so many others have in our world. We are taught not to question when someone so great is taken from this earth so young but there isn't any way to come to terms with it. The loss is so great and so unfair. I truly believe that he could have been a powerful impact on all of our lives and the future held so much promise. So, now what I think of is we must honor his memory by trying to live our daily lives and striving for the way that he would have hoped our country could be. We send our prayers to his family and to his wife and sister in law's family. We will not forget and we will never be the same.

I was deeply sadend by the death of jfk jr. and his wife. But realistically John and Carolyn marriage wasn't as perfect as the media paints it out to be. You have to remember that Daryl Hannah was in the picture a very long time. He got involved with Carolyn while Daryl was still in the picture. The only reason why he left Daryl was that his mother did not want him to marry her. He found some one his family would approve of, someone who was unknown, and not in the entertainment business. Daryl and John were very much in love. I still feel that John loved Daryl when he married Carolyn. The marriage was incognito and no one knew of it. It happened to quickly.

how do we begin to express the sense of loss we feel when we think of john carolyn and lauren? it is inexpressible. in fort worth texas where his father made his last public address and received his last benediction we honor dad and son. we honor jack and jackie as parents and rose and joe as the tru founders of the kennedy legacy. how far reaching their influence will be? nobody really knows.

Since the press are indicating that the Bessette sisters are at fault for the demise of the three, and now lawsuits are being discussed shows how families can be destroyed by the media. Two parents, although seperated, lost two daughters, I can understand the mothers anger at "wanting to CLEAR her daughters names". This is very pitiful. In defense of the Bessette family John was the pilot of the plane, as being a pilot myself there is a legal term we all use LIVE AND FLY by, which is "PILOT IN COMMAND". Simply said the pilot is responsible for the operation and safety of an aircraft during preflight, flight, and post flight while operating an aircraft. The Pilot in command of an aircraft is directly responsible for, and is the final authority as to the operation of that aircraft. I suggest the media research the "FEDERAL AVIATION REGULATIONS", particularly FAR 91.3 Responsibility and authority of pilot in command. I personally think that John himself was a great all around guy, and a good role model for this generation, as well someone who one could approach on the street or in the park just like anyone else. This accident was just THAT, a tragic loss of three young lives. The Lord has three new angelic spirits within his kingdom. May their families left behind be comforted by Gods Blessings. The five of us give our deepest sympathy to the Freeman,Kennedy,& Bessette families. It is quite odd that everyday in life someone passes away for any given reason and it hurts to a degree that is difficult to put into words, unless one has been through the same thing. For some strange reason the media will not leave these people alone. We are not going out of our way to trash the media, however, if it was someone else, would it not be difficult for you to hide from cameras everywhere? They all lived a normal life. The 3 of them worked just like everyone else, ate food, went to chruch, participated in athletic charities, shopped for groceries, talked to their neighbors...there are many times that John could be seen talking to ANYONE on the street, riding his bike and what not. They had friends, just like everyone else, they loved music of all kinds, they downplayed societies image of what they were "supposed to be". Johns friends, ie the children of Dr. Martin Luther King, Ron Brown, etc..were all children of assasinated LEADERS. WE say LEADERS because we dont want to define their actually positions. Can any of you see how powerful a group like them would have an impact ( wishful thinking politcally) after the year 2000? Children with a wonderful upbringing that was not about money but CIVIL RIGHTS-MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE & FIGHTING IGNORANCE! While everyone is wondering about all of the ugly details and so called lawsuits and garbage, does anyone care that this was a loss to a possible new leadership that could have made a positIve contribution to society? Did anyone even actually look at the people that were at the memorial service? what a DIVERSE group of people. He surrounded himself with the common man and woman. He was special. He was kind. He was a good husband, brother, son, uncle, nephew, grandson, son-in-law...etc...dont make it any more than that. 3 people, that were a lot like everyone else. Sadly, now that he is gone, pray for his family, when you pray for your own. pray for hers, when you pray for others. JFK Jr. was to the States our own version of Princess Diana. Even though we didn't personally know him-we knew him. The loss will forever remain etched in our hearts. What I don't understand is how come the Kennedy's are allowing the government so much coverup and going along with all this boloney! I personally feel JFK Jr.,wife and sister-in-law were murdered! I was truly waiting for a miracle and often found myself in deep prayer begging for one. I cried for days and lost alot of sleep hoping the Lord would answer all our paryers. I can only take comfort in knowing he is finally with his father again after all these years and that Jackie must be thrilled with her daughter-in-law. It also left me pondering the question of what are we here for and why should we try so hard to be good when it can all be taken away from us so quickly. Over the next week,the media pounded every photo, bit of gossip, and detail of the lives of John and Caroline Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette's lives into the public's heads. The collective message from the media was clear- this is a tragedy of epic proportions and everyone must partake in the mourning, like it or not. And while you're at it- buy our papers and watch our televised coverage, because all this hoopla is expensive. Then, come July 26, just when I thought the orgy was abating, the August 2 issue of New York appears with a John and Caroline cover and almost 15 pages devoted to him. When are you media folks going to quit picking their bones for your own profit?

An addendum to my first message: I asked God to help me understand this loss and help me with the bad feeling in the pit of my stomach. I went to the bible and he showed me this :John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"(NIV) I felt a sense of comfort and that our Heavenly Father has all of this in his hands. Amen

I was and am stil so sad about this horrible accident. I prayed so diligently everyday for the Holy Spirit to guide the Navy divers/crew to find their bodies. I didn't want them to be left on the ocean floor. I feel so bad for Caroline and the Bessettes. Caroline's children will never have cousins on her side of the family. I love my cousins and I am so sad for this loss. John was born 7 mos and 1 day after me in 1960 and I am so very sad that we will not be growing old together anymore. I kept saying that I wish they would have waited 12 hours to fly in the morning when the visibility was better. I have flown a plane briefly and it is a great feeling, I know he must have loved being free and away from all the constant hoopla that followed him. I wish things could have been different. Being 41 years old and a youngster when JFK was assassinated, made me an intense Kennedy fan. I have read or viewed almost everything that has been available, and followed the family through the years. Jaqueline Kennedy was so right when she wanted JFK remembered in the way that was so fitting..."Camelot". At times like this, it seems we always consider the loss. True, the loss is great and painful when we ponder the tragedy of these premature deaths and the potential had these lives continued. I have been memerized by John Jr. for quite a long time, since I was about 20 I'd say. It was always amazing to me, what an absolutely perfect man he was. He was absolutely beautiful inside and out. John Kennedy Jr. was an intelligent, individual who's motivations seemed unsure. But it became obvious, after meeting and marrying his beautiful wife, that his life made a major change for the better. His interest for creative endeavors were taking him to a place of necessary importance,directed toward the betterment of mankind in general, not just the USA. He was a truly unique individual when living, and he is surely still a strong force for good in his present heavenly position. I believe that his goodness will continue to grow and later flower into a heavenly position among the hierarchs of the inner and outer worlds. A day has not gone by since last Saturday that I have not cried and grieved over John, Carolyn, and Lauren. I have been glued to the television and radio, listening and watching everything I can. I guess it's my way of having a memorial time for them. When Fox News shows the footage of the family reunion last year, that's when it's the saddest. I see two beautiful people, so obviously madly in love with each other, and it makes me so sad that they are gone. They would have made a wonderful first couple, and I think John would have won the presidency with a landslide defeat of whoever else was running. John, Carolyn, and Lauren, you were, are, and always will be loved deeply. I know all of you are at peace and with God and Jackie. Carolyn, you now can meet your mother-in-law, and I'm sure Jackie will be very pleased with her son's soulmate. John, any woman would have been proud to call you husband, lover, and friend. Lauren, I had never heard of you until last Saturday, but it's obvious that you were an exceptional lady. To the families, always know you are in my prayers. A dear friend of mine wrote a song called "Angels are Hard to Find". It was written after the death of a child. To John John and Caroline, I remember so many times that my grandmother was so proud to tell me I was born just a few days after "JonJon" Kennedy November 29th 1960. So many times I have reflected on those words. I use to pass by Chote Prepatory school in Wallingford Connecticut, and again I would remember those words. I met Uncle Ted in the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt in late 1986, and again remembered those words she said. Now you are gone and I will surely miss you.
