Happy Independence Day!

See from sea to shining sea, as EarthCam celebrated a nationwide US birthday party with fireworks and fun from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Time-lapse archives from across America preserve the Independence Day activities in New York City, St Louis, and San Francisco among others. Pay a patriotic visit to the Statue of Liberty.

Six fireworks barges stretched up river over 33 city blocks attracting millions on both New York and New Jersey banks of the river. Multiple EarthCam camera locations, including one on the mast of he USS Intrepid located directly across from the center of the barges offered uninterrupted views of the spectacular.
