Welcome to the Adirondacks!
Enjoy breathtaking vistas overlooking the rolling Adirondack Mountains.
This EarthCam camera is located at the Natural History Museum of the
Adirondacks in Tupper Lake, NY. From this vantage point, you can see views
of Whiteface Summit, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and the High Peaks Region.

The Adirondacks Park was created in 1892 by the State of NY and is about the
size of Vermont. The Adirondack park is equal in area to Yellowstone, Grand
Canyon, Everglades and great Smokey National Parks combined. The highest
Peak is Mt. Marcy at 5,344 feet. Lake Placid and Lake George are major
centers, and Lake Placid was host to two Winter Olympic Games, in 1932 and
1980.
Note: If you see a gray image, the location is experiencing foggy conditions or heavy snow. If the image is black, it is most likely nighttime.
