Welcome to San Francisco!
EarthCam and the South End Rowing Club
bring you a
breathtaking view of San Francisco bay from the heart of the San Francisco
Maritime National Historical Park. From this vantage point you can see the Golden
Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island.

San Francisco is the 4th largest California city and the 14th largest in
America. It is the second most densely populated American city after New
York. It is known for its months-long fogginess, steep rolling hills,
eclectic mix of Victorian style homes and modern skyscrapers, and its being
surrounded by the Pacific Ocean and the San Francisco Bay. Famous hallmarks
and landmarks include the San Francisco cable cars, the Transamerica
Pyramid, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz Island.
